Dedicated to Captain Thomas Hammon Miller 1947-2006 Thomas H. Miller was born in Sacramento California on October 10, 1947. He went to Vietnam when he was 20, and served in the USMC. One of the men he was put into a squad with asked, "hey buddy you got 20\20 vision?", Miller replied, "ya I got it", the man said to him ,"ok then you're on point!". He served 2 tours in Vietnam(67-69) as a Captain, and recieved the Medal of Honor and the Purple Heart.He was known by his buddies as "Tomcat".But thats not all, he also met the love of his life in Vietnam, who he soon married and she became Sharon Miller. Thomas Miller enjoyed fishing, going to the shooting rang,and most of all, spending time with his family. He also enjoyed a camping trip here and there. One of his famous sayings was: "It doesn't take one man to get it done, it takes men!" Qote from Sharon Miller: "Thomas was a man of pride, dignity and courage! There wasn't one thing that man would'nt do for another fellow individual! And how I loved him." Thomas Hammon Miller passed away on April 17,2006 at the age of 58. He left behind a loving wife of 40 yrs, Sharon Miller,and a loving family, 2 daughters, Alice and Christa Miller, 2 sons, Sam and Adrian Miller. Thomas Miller was a good friend and was a big part of the SRP family. He was a man dedicated to everyone and everything in his life, wich included bringing alot of positive aspects to the SRP clan. He will never be forgotten. Thomas Miller commands everyones upmost honor and respect. And so we must keep his memory alive,by using his good qualities, as a family man, as a friend, and as a player. We all will miss you Thomas Miller. WE SALUTE YOU!!
